For four delicious days each October, Uzès stops being a pretty stone town and becomes a working kitchen. Now in its fourth edition, Saveurs & Savoirs gathers chefs, food writers, producers and the simply curious under the arcades of Place aux Herbes and in venues around town — this year's programme shaped by François-Régis Gaudry alongside Charles Patin O'Coohoon.
There's no red-carpet gloss to it. A chef might be signing books in the morning and judging a children's meatball contest by early afternoon. That mix of seriousness and mischief is the point.

Where to Stay
Uzès fills up fast during the festival. La Flânerie sits roughly 15km away in Euzet-les-Bains — close enough to come back into town for the evening sessions, far enough that you're not queuing for breakfast with the crowds. A proper kitchen means you can actually cook with whatever you bring home from the Sunday market.
La Flânerie offers the ideal base just 15km from festival venues, with fully equipped kitchens for practising newfound techniques and peaceful surroundings for reflection.
